school was fine yesterday. I was so tired cause of camp the night before. Will post about camp when i get the pics and videos. So, was kinda hyper yesterday and blah blah blah. Break 2 with the replug people and they are just fantastic. Seriously. And they are fun people too! hurhurhur. Smoked my way through my presentation. And den, Cedric showed us his wedding pictures and a really kuku video of him and 2 other facis. Left school with deng to go and meet this guy:

met up with wong tuck wai after that and walked around hub and den happened to see poh huihui! omg, was so happy can! to see them! slacked around, drank bubble tea and den headed to the void deck. Played dai dee and cam whored. it was super funny cans?! even the grp of malay girls next to us were laughing. but i'm too lazy to compile the guys photos. hahas. so just to end off the post:

today my Godsent is : JAMES KANG WEI JIAN!
Kaien didn't come to school and he was supposed to bring my guitar.
So i was panicking in the morning as we were having CG later in the day.
So I asked luke and deng if they had guitars with them and they said no.
So I messaged that Pokemon to ask what time he would be home and when I told deng tt, deng said he was in VJ! But i still decided to take the chance.

And you know what? He didn't have school today cause his principal decided to give them a full day off and he was able to lend my his guitar since he stayed so near by! And since I was having class, deng went to get it for me. so many many many thanks to both of you dudes!

the past 2 weeks were kinda tough on me. faced rejections and disappointments and had to control my temper a lot. But I'm glad that I have God in my life. Seriously. And great friends who care about me in class and in school and church.

squash the dumb old flu bug

my heart just melted at the sight of this picture. from that big head's blog! it's just SOOOO adorable beyond words! hahas

just felt so loved the past week.
cause I fell sick on tuesday (I don't blame the jelly beans!)
and I was in school! and I told dengky!
and he brought lozenges for me! and he and pauline came to my class during second break and we went to have lunch together and they prayed for me to get well soon. felt so loved.

den my classmates were all concerned about me and everything. and thursday i went home early and everyone was like messaging me to get well soon. from classmates, to cg and unit members, etc. and deng was very nice to me tt day! hahas.

but actually, the moral of my story is: the flu bug is going around! squash it! hahas! take care people!

I know I have not been updating this blog regularly. I just want to post some stuff I found on NEA2 blog which I blogged about 2 years ago.

GOD-SHAPED HOLE.

Even with God in our lives, no doubt some of us still feel there's something missing. And that empty space is a God-shaped hole, meaning, we can only fit God inside. if u still dun get it, lemme give u an example.

2 solids, a triangle and a square.
u cant possibly fit the triangle in a square shaped hole or a square in a triangle shaped hole.

Therefore, this God-shaped hole, only God can fit inside. Meaning, we have to surrender ourselves to Him. Surrender our sins, weaknesses, troubles, problems, obstacles, weariness, etc. to Him. and when we do, we will experience peace, freedom and God's powerful.

For example, the few weeks before my end of year exams, i was so stressed with studying and the pile of work i had to do, that i actually broke down and cry. But then, i surrendered everything to God, and throughout the 2 weeks of exams, i felt so relaxed, so peaceful. Cause i know that He is with me.

Another important thing that is essential when we surrender to God is trust. Sometimes you may question yourselves: I know that I have to surrender to God, but then will it help me? will it bring me through whatever I'm going through now? We have to have faith in God, we have to trust Him. Cause God will NEVER shortchange us. So put your trust in Him.

Caregroup is not just an event.
Not just a group.

Caregroup is about doing life together.

Caregroup is about being there for each other in times of need.

Caregroup is accepting each other for who they are.

No matter how different the person is, no matter what their family background is, their interest, their looks. But we all come together for one purpose, to serve God.

I mean, imagine if your CG members liked the same things as you, dressed the same way as you, were just like you. At first it will definitely be cool and all, but after awhile it will get boring.

Caregroup is about helping each other to grow in the Lord.

Caregroup is about Love.

School is still as fine as ever. Going through some struggles and I was shocked but yet relieved that Sarah felt exactly the same way as me. I felt relieved. well well, I'll post more soon. And maybe some pictures next time!

false hope?

nah. hahas.
so I was kind of excited for one day.

Let's start out with the beginning.
I got through the first round of replug auditions.
Had a blast preparing for the second round.
Went for the auditions.
Got 2 emails, one saying I got in, another saying I didn't.

Went to clarify and the final conclusion is: I did not make it.
How i'm feeling now? Well, I was a bit disappointed but last night I was actually kind of hoping that I did not get in.

So, I'm still feeling fine =D
seriously. hahas.

I can now concentrate even more on my ministry =D

Laptop battery dying.
short post.

I thank God for Ika and Jazreel and Daphne in class. For making days easier for me and for being so easy to talk to. and Hafiz, too!

things that made me happy and at peace

1. SATs are so over!!!!! (4.5 hr exams)
2. Met fellow Jersey-ians on 132 to town.
3. Saw half of the deyi group
4. The redness of my burns went down and my face is starting to peel! (my face dussen hurt anymore)
5. 3 musketeers are no longer the 3 blind mice anymore (HAFIZ!)
   
6. Service was just great.. Really great.
7. Saw jalea! and andria and matthias and jonquek!
8. Reigonal PM was just awesome despite me being tired. So convicted all of a sudden.
9. Supper was great with daphne, luke, guisiang, shareen, pastor jasmine (!!), meihwa, desiree, gordon and kaien!
10. saw desmond and keith and yeshen today!

just some random stuff

I'll blog about sentosa and ruth's bday celebration soon. (when my horrible horrible sunburn does not hurt anymore)

first things first:
I got through the first round of re-plug auditions! and so did ika and luke and syazwan! awesome yo!

and today, i went to school with a lot of foundation on my face cause of the horrible sunburn marks. Expected my classmates to laugh at me, but instead, they were concerned for me. And hafiz and syafiq tried to make my pain better! thanks dudes!

and rahman was being so irritating today that i rolled him out of the class and eileen locked him out. HAHAS!

cudden take the pain for awhile during second meeting and felt very weak, but after lunch i was alright.

me and syafiq cudden stop laughing at a lot of things during 3rd meeting. i think we distracted the groups tt were presenting.

hung around with luke and syazwan and became friends with his classmates after school.

met hafiz and simon after they finished their MAN workout. hahas.

talked until hafiz totally forgot about his quiz and was left with 2 minutes to do.

im getting tired already. hahas.
