finally!
i've got the mood to update. hahas.
it's a pity to see this blog stagnant.

just a few reasons why i have not been updating.
1. Busy preparing for Christmas Party held on tuesday.
2. SICK SICK SICK!

so.. as for number 1,
it was super fun lahs.
but i was already sick on that day and was forced to wake up early and run errands for my mom. guest started streaming in at like 4pm. slacked for a really long while and was trying to keep my hamsters safe from the wrath of the little monsters running around my house. finally was able to get some rest (nap) but that rachel fong smsed me and said that they were reaching. oh yea, had ex-NEA2 CT gathering on that day. so went to fetch them and that dumb rachel was playing hide-and-seek. hahas. so the rest came and rach was the joke of the evening. headed out after they ate and stuff and settled with watching a midnight movie. watched the WARLORD! super nice lahs. but the ending was so... ya. hahas. went to macs to slack and talk and joke and to eat corn and den after that we made our ways home.

as for number 2, i've been sick since wednesday. but only went to see doc on friday. got my meds den watched ugly betty online like i have been doing since wednesday. finished watching until the current episode. i love BETTY and ALEXIS and JUSTIN! hahas. they are just so cute and funny! yup. so friday, mom's friends came over for dinner. i developed a rash and there was blood in my phlegm and i woke up on saturday in no state to go service. really cudden make it. and i was afraid the thingy would be contagious. so went to see doc again, im gna be fine! hahas. slept for half the day. double doasge of drowsy medicine, fell asleep while the sun was still shining bright, woke up when the sun was no more! hahas. felt so much better!

well, my sis is coming back!! ahhhs! im so happy! more company, someone to crap with, someone to get in to trouble with! hahas.

Christmas Service

yesterday was a blast!
met up with kar in the morning before heading to meet her group.
we ran from City Hall MRT all the way to the rock.
I was really touched by the last part of the service yesterday.
God does wonderful and miraculous things.
He changes lives.

Was touched during the second worship song and altar call.
So den, i met up with cheesiang and den me, her, qian and desiree headed down to harbourfront and gave cards and such. Headed down to palawan for the party.

The NEB guys were very nice. They shared their very very big mat with us and the AMK and GRADS guys. hahas. took pics and had fun! Had to run for the last trains! got home late. Caroling tomorrow! and gab fong's house for party! w00t! just some pics to end off the post.

Spiritual Surgeons

i've been watching season 3 of grey's anatomy for the past 2 days and now im on ep 20 but it can't seem to load. it's taking VERRRRY LONG!

so as i was watching, i was so awed by the way these surgeons/doctors save lives. there was a period in my life that i wanted to be a doctor, but my grades did not allow cause i guess i'm not called to be one. but it's my passion to be a doctor, to be able to save lives.

and then it dawned upon me, that i CAN save lives. not only lives, but souls as well. and it's by bringing people to know God. and that is so cool. i can be a surgeon/doctor right here right now. a SPIRITUAL surgeon/doctor. everyone can be one. it's just whether you want to, or you don't want to.

yay! anyways, this show rocks!

yesterday and today were fun!!!
yesterday i went out to meet albie, diane and kengleong.
kengleong cut his hair!!! hahas.
so we walked around town and all den took NEL with kengleong and alighted at serangoon to go for heidi's BBQ. super fun lahs!!! alot of funny things happened too. got home at close to 12.

today had service and the drama was uber cool!!!! Pastor Jeff's sermon was really great too. saw many converts today. after that lunched and den to america room for district meeting and caroling practice! so fun!!!! took bus back with kar afterwards and had dinner at home! yay! hope kids tomorrow!!!

CAMP IS OVER!
and im quite saddened by the thought of it probably being my last youth camp.
bu that's not the point.
im stil really tired despite about exactly 24 hrs of sleep.
but i still think i lost to that pig keith. ahhs.

God as my motivation

for the past 4 months, these people have been my motivation to stay in church. along with some others. why you may ask? if i leave, i was afraid i would disappoint them and therefore i stayed on.

but now, after chatting with my shepherd, i realised that i should not stay in church because of the people, but to let God be my motivation. Now, God is my motivation to stay in church.

this week has just been great for me.
i have finally started to shift my focus back to God, back to Jesus and away from the "world."
camp is coming. i wanna go to camp with the heart, the faith and the excitement of a new believer. i wanna be like a sponge and absorb God's word, and i want God to just speak to me, to make this the most life transforming camp ever.

God will do it.

lemme tell you the story about why i wore my DEYI PE TSHIRT TODAY!
i woke up late.
was supposed to wake up at 930 but woke up at 1020 instead when rachel texted me.
so.. i rushed to bathe and get ready and i just took any shirt i could get.
and i didn't know it was deyi shirt until i got in the cab.

morning d, lunch with st nicks girls, rachel's cg and bugis street with rach, yining and huixuan.
huixuan is super sweet lahs. chatted with her on the bus ride home and i can see how much she really loves God and has the burden for her group. she's will go far. jiayou huixuan!

losing the momentum to blog.

sadly, but happy, SL camp is over.
many screw ups and lessons to learn from but i really thank God for all the alumni who i have worked together with in the planning. after reading through the juniors' blogs.. i felt a sense of satisfaction. cause they really enjoyed the camp. will elaborate more when i get the momentum.

past week has been busy with camp prep, rehearsals, jamming and WFL. more to come. taking a day off after morning D tomorrow. gna run some errands like getting my phone fixed etc. met up with gab today... like after dunno how many weeks. ahhs.. so rushed for time. but oh wells...
hope everything will be fine.
